Discover the Forest
Forest Walks
We conduct seasonal educational walks, in collaboration with other Island conservation groups, covering the geology of the forest, ecology of the glacial sandplain ecosystem, and the role of prescribed burning in preservation and restoration of the forest’s rare and declining insect, plant, and bird species. Visit the News and Events page for information on upcoming walks.
